Ottawa, August 14th , 2007 – NteliPath Inc., a pioneer in the development and provision of end-to-end Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Technologies, today announced the release of its iPath:Archive 2.0 solution. This new release provides significant enhancements and extends the capabilities of Microsoft ECM platform to provide a highly scalable document imaging and archiving solution.
The iPath:Archive functional extensions for MOSS 2007 complements the MOSS document and records management platform with a production level document image management solution that provides advanced imaging services including image archiving, delivery, viewing and manipulation optimized for very large volumes and high performance. The solution also provides a highly scalable archive repository for the migration and storage of documents outside of the SharePoint repository, preserving at all times the same user experience of viewing, retrieving and managing the archived documents from within the MOSS 2007 document libraries.
The seamlessly integrated MOSS 2007 and iPath:Archive solution when coupled with NteliPath’s high volume and distributed image capture solution, iPath:Capture, provide a comprehensive and enterprise class document management, records management, document capture, document imaging, web content management, business process automation and archiving solution. Documents that are stored in iPath:Archive are represented in the MOSS document libraries and are subjected to the same rules and policies that apply to documents stored in SharePoint.
“Such an architecture provides the basis to extend MOSS ECM functions to content stored in disparate repositories, thus enabling federated search and federated records management using Microsoft’s Enterprise Search and Records Management capabilities”, said Dr. Yaser Abaza, Senior Vice President of operation at NteliPath.
“We are very pleased to provide our customer base with a solid solution based on the Microsoft ECM platform, the emerging platform of choice for enterprise collaboration, portal and ECM solutions as per leading industry analysts”, continued Dr. Abaza. NteliPath next generation ECM solutions, built on Microsoft’s ECM platform, provide a consistent and familiar user experience, seamless integration with Microsoft Office Technologies and Exchange 2007, flexible integration and automation of business processes, and highly scalable archiving and storage management capabilities.
