NteliPath Announces Release of iPath:Migrate Solution for MOSS

iPath:Migrate provides best-in-class classification structures and content migration from virtually any source to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

Ottawa, February, 25th 2008- NteliPath Inc., a pioneer in the development and provision of end-to-end Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Technologies, today announced the release of its iPath:Migrate solution. This new module enables enterprises that are implementing MOSS 2007 as their portal and ECM platform of choice to migrate content with its corresponding metadata and classification structures to SharePoint documents libraries, folder structures and databases. The content can come from virtually any source or content repository including file shares, document capture solutions, other document management systems, legacy systems, custom repositories, file plans and more.

Often, organizations with large volumes of content scattered in paper or electronic folders want to implement a content management solution to capture, organize, classify, store and apply life cycle management to their content. This is necessary to improve the organization's competitive advantage, employee productivity, and it's ability to securely capture, search for, retrieve and deliver the right content to the right people at the right time. iPath:Migrate provides an effective solution that helps streamline and speed up the data migration process into SharePoint.

iPath:Migrate is also very useful to records managers that need to import their records and file plans into SharePoint. "iPath:Migrate brings to MOSS document and records management the ability to automatically create document libraries and folder structures and import content, metadata, and folder classification structures into SharePoint sites", said Bruce Power, Business Development Manager at NteliPath. "It also enables our customers to migrate their content from legacy document management systems, document capture modules or file shares into the MOSS ECM platform. This provides a significant saving of time and effort in project implementation and in particular in the data migration process, which has traditionally been a very time consuming exercise" continued Mr. Power.

NteliPath next generation ECM solutions, built on Microsoft's ECM platform, provide a consistent and familiar user experience, seamless integration with Microsoft Office Technologies and Exchange 2007, flexible integration and automation of business processes, and highly scalable archiving and storage management capabilities.
